  • Next UFC rumored matches. what do you think?

Couture/Rizzo im sure everyone knows about but Trigg/Miletich and Liddell/Vitor are strongly rumored as well. it also looks like BJ penn,Steve Berger and possibly ricardo almeida MIGHT be on the card too. anyways sounds good so far, Miletich vs Trigg would be a battle!

Couture vs. Rizzo is a tough one to call.

I'll say Couture by decision, but I wouldn't be surprised if Pedro pulled off the KO.

I think Trigg will take it to Miletich. He is young and coming off a tough loss, and this is for the title. I think Pat's day is at an end if this fight comes through.

Vitor will beat Liddell, one way or the other. I like Chuck, but I don't see him winning stand-up OR the ground...unless Vitor's worm is acting up.

I'm interested to see the Militech-Trigg match. Pedro-Couture should also be a good match. I don't know if Penn is committed to the UFC or not, however I'd much rather see him in the AD.

It will be a good fight, but I'm going with Miletich. He's too good at neutralizing attacks. It takes a superior technician to beat him; Trigg while being an awesome wrestler, doesn't have the skills and is too reliant on his strength & athleticism. Militich has the side to readily deal with any G & P that Trigg might attempt.

          my picks

I think Pedro will handle Couture, unless Couture works the ground game hard and goes for a G&P or submission. If Couture tries his clinch and punch routine, I think it will go badly for him. Randy's main problem is that it'll be hard to take Pedro down and the rounds are only five minutes long.
I think Militiech will handle Triggs. I think Pat will be able to keep his feet for a while and he will be able to defend himself well on the ground. I think Pat's ground game is tight, but I seriously doubt he'd be able to submit Frank normally, but after he beats up Frank on their feet the submission will come. Frank doesn't have a standup game for Pat and he will be best served taking Pat down and smashing up Pat from inside his guard. The trick will be taking Pat down and keeping him there.
Liddell/Vitor is tough to call. Vitor has strong takedowns, but I think he'll have problems with Chuck. Chuck had better be prepared for Vitor's stand up game. Chuck beat Noe Hernandez, but I expect Vitor is better than Noe standing. I expect Vitor will punch his way into a takedown and punish Chuck on the ground before going for a submission. I expect this to be an awesome fight though, and I wouldn't be suprised if Chuck pulled it out.

Three great fights. I hope they'll happen.

          FE.

Its not a question of if Vitor will win orrt,is a matter of which Vitor shows up to fight!

Belfort will likly not be fighting in the next UFC. Trigg and Vlady Matyushenko from the RAW team were contacted but are now out.

              Rumored card:
              Rizzo/Couture (official)
Chuck Liddell vs Kevin Randleman (middlewight)
              Mikey Burnett vs ? (Lightweight)
              Preliminary bouts:
              Steve Berger vs Tony DeSouza
              BJ Penn vs ?

I didn't hear about Mikey Burnett fighting, but Miletich is definatly defending the belt. The question is against who. Both the Rizzo/Couture & Chuck Liddell vs Kevin Randleman fights are going to happen unless an injury occures. BJ PEnn is definatly fighting, but not sure who. I'm hoping they get a good fighter for Miletich. I'm tired of them sending in unproven guys who don't deserve title shots against him. But I believe Zuffa will come threw, they have done a great job so far and seem to be on the right track to getting the UFC back on top. I wouldn't mind seeing Hallman get the shot since he beat Hughes, again. BUt it seems he's going down to bantumweight. I hope to see him on the card one way or the other. My wish is to see Pele agains Miletich.
