Royce had Big Balls for fighting the "Big Boys". Matt Hughes caught Royce when he was an old man, way past his prime.
As much as I hate Hughes, I think he would beat Royce any day, even in his prime. Now tell me, can fighters even fight out of their weight class nowadays? People are 20 times better than what they were back then, stop comparing shit to how it was 15 years ago, people EVOLVE! MMA EVOLVED! Dan Severn was a good wrestler with pretty much shitty striking and shitty submissions, if any...

You're giving him props for fighting people above his weight class yet now he can't even compete with his weight class, also, would Royce in his prime beat any of the pride heavyweights? Yes, any? Hell, I wouldn't give him a win over ufc heavyweights even though I think 90% of them are shitty.

Royce's only crime was that he was to good for his own time...

He deserve's respect for what he's done, the guy would go up against people 30, 40, even 100 pounds heavier then him up to 4 times in one night!

If Royce has proven anything it's that he's got the biggest balls in MMA... Fighting a losing fight to guys like Saku and Matt just prove even more.
