Most topics aren't about posturing or outrage. Most topics don't even contain name calling until jubaji the mongrel comes along. You have destroyed more good discussion and insulted more people throughout your years posting here than any other single forum member.

You're a punk and a coward that hides behind the idea that you do some good by running off trolls when you're the main troll that thinks he gets to decide what everyone else discusses.

I'm discussing that latest episode of The Human Weapon. What are you here discussing? Are you contributing to the topic? No. Mongrels don't contribute. They sniff asses and bark loudly.

      Krav Maga USA

For anyone interested in the art http://www.kravmagausa.com/

Here is some info from the home page and a link. This may be considered a martial art but first and foremost it is self defense and not a sport of any kind. I repeat not a sport. There are no rules on the street. Modern Combatives have no rules and this falls under that category as far as most people are concerned. It is all about going home at the end of the day. You may not have a cool story to regal your friends with and it may not make coolest videos on youtube. But at least it will keep you alive.
      .................................................................................................... ....
      1) YOU WILL LEARN TO DEFEND YOURSELF

      Krav Maga Self Defense

You will gain valuable street smart self-defense skills with each class you attend. Let’s face it—we live in a world that is not as safe as we would like it to be. Krav Maga teaches you practical, proven techniques against the most common real-life attacks you might face. Even if you are a person of average physical ability, Krav Maga’s simple, effective techniques will take only a few short months of study to help you feel safe and secure in almost any situation.

      2) YOU WILL QUICKLY GET IN THE BEST SHAPE OF YOUR LIFE

Need to lose a little weight? No problem! You will actually lose body fat while gaining muscle, so you will look and feel better. You will notice the difference in the way your clothes fit and your overall tone from exercises designed to strengthen the muscles used in self-defense situations. You will increase your endurance, stamina, strength and flexibility. Krav Maga’s training methods and games create a fantastic fitness workout you’ll love. Your ability to keep an increased heart rate will improve; you will breathe better; you will sleep better; you will even feel an increase in energy all day long. Start at any level of physical fitness and quickly work your way into your best shape ever.

      3) YOU WILL SIGNIFICANTLY REDUCE YOUR STRESS

You will quickly overcome the anxiety and fear of high stress situations. Krav Maga has special training drills designed to help you function under stress, shock, and the adrenal rush of a sudden encounter. You will learn to assert yourself as you are encouraged to break through your limits. The internal “toughness” you develop during these drills will help you avoid the need for a physical confrontation altogether. More importantly, the internal “toughness” you develop will help you deal with all of life’s challenges much more effectively. Krav Maga is a real high energy workout and stress reliever.

      4) YOU WILL BUILD YOUR CONFIDENCE

Krav Maga builds upon your own natural reactions, so it’s easy to learn. Your self confidence will soar as you constantly add new techniques to your arsenal. Our students tell us that Krav Maga gives them a positive attitude and makes them feel good about themselves. Our experienced trainers know exactly how to keep you motivated to achieve your self-defense and fitness goals, so you will return home from each class with renewed vigor and enthusiasm.

      5) YOU WILL BE ON THE CUTTING EDGE OF FITNESS & SELF-DEFENSE

Krav Maga is one of the fastest growing martial arts systems in the world today. Already in use by the FBI, NYPD, and the U.S. Secret Service, Krav Maga is sweeping the nation. Even celebrities are getting into the act. Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Lopez, Jennifer Garner, Lucy Liu, James Gandolfini, Cameron Diaz, and Patrick Swayze are just a few of the people combining a great workout with practical self defense training. And since you can mix the days and times you train, you can fit it in to your busy schedule. No complicated rituals, no crazy outfits, no nonsense, just state-of-the-art fitness and self-defense training.

Are you taking note, the rest of you Combatives folks who I do not direct my ire towards? Do you see this?

And when did MMA become so "beloved"?

Were you trying to be ironic there, or are you just too stupid to even read your own words?

You can read every post written on this topic by jubaji: mongrel on his mother's side, and you won't find one post about the martial arts. He talks once about the fighter's looking pissed, and that's it. And then he has the nerve to complain? What's going on in that melon head of his?

              *shrug*

Human Weapon, while being a bit cheesy because of the fixed fights at the end, gives A LOT of good information and let's many different high level instructors share information and the history of the arts they cover.

              Great posts DJForest and Shoot.

Garland, you made me laugh with that last post. You are sick. Gotta love it.

I agree with Uke about the Show being a bit Cheesy and the fights sucking for the most part other then the Muay Thai and Judo episodes.I thought the Krav Maga episode was great though lots of real world applications and real world history on Israel.

i liked how in the krav maga episode they met that one instructor at masada. thats a crazy place to be, the site of a very brutal historical battle and inmop a huge symbol of resistance.

I thought the funniest fight was when Bill punched the karateka in the face out of desperation and exhaustion. I was rollin'.

                        ..................

They should let Bill and Jason get their asses whupped. I can guarantee the ratings would rise. I mean really, how better to show the formidable quality of a style than to let a seasoned practitioner paint an asswhoopin all over those two guys?

In its own way, the show is kind of doing a disservice by making it appear that those two guys can hold their own against ranking practitioners after only a few days training.

I call it the Tarzan syndrome. They go to a foreign land and spend some time there and after a while they are better at doing in a fraction of the time what the natives have been doing for generations.

Still, I prefer to see the end fights as humor. But seeing as its humor and the end fights are fake anyway, they should get a choreographer and really cheese it up. The way I see it if there's no point in pretending that what their doing is genuine then they might as well have fun with it.

Lastly, I wonder if there are out takes? Like when Bill punched the karate guy in the face ... did the karateka haul off and give him the business? Or do they show fluid continuity? Out takes would be great.

How often do Krav Maga practitioners fight each other, using any kind of techniques, Full Contact? How often do they fight full contact with other Krav Maga schools?
