Ya, I competed in the "executive" division (36 and over). I should have competed in the under 36 (it's optional) division because there were only four of us in the division, and one was a blue belt @ 178lbs, and the other two were white belts @ 210 and 270 respectively (I weighed in @ 148). My first match I lost by points (6-0) to the blue belt, and by 6-4 to the 210lb white belt. Thank goodness I didn't have to grapple the 270lb dude! By the way, I'm a second stripe white belt.
That was the gi division above.
One of the judges asked me if I was going to compete in the no gi with the same group of guys, but I decided to go in with guys my own weight and level, so I was in the 139 - 149lb division.
I fought a Brazilian and lost via guillotine choke from his guard.
It was good experience for me, but next time I think I'll stay away from the executive division, especially if the guys are heavier and/or more experienced than I.

By the way, it was a well run show. I met Claude Patrick, and a bunch of UCC pros and local BJJ guys. I'm not sure how the KATA guys did overall, but there was alot of cheers coming from the Karma and Shah Franco camps. There were three mats running at once, so it was hard to catch all the matches.
