So the word "cockfighting" doesn't get messed up or "cocky," a word used often to describe Frank Shamrock, among other fighters.

You got it Ilonggo. If there’s one thing I’m good it, its riding other peoples waves.

Gargoyle. Eyewitness accounts have Laird kicking out of that wave and sitting in the channel crying. I don’t blame him. As far as I’m concerned he can wear pantyhose, write poetry and talk with a lisp…… and he’d still be a stud.

Chill daddy ace is a pussy!

Hey Mickey, I don't think there's been a death while surfing "Jaws". It's basically a matter of the wave runner reaching the wiped out surfer before the second wave comes in. Correct me if I'm wrong though sir.

BTW: I'm here and all you fellas smoke pole!

You’re right, so far, no deaths at jaws. Those guys know what they’re doing and they work together. It probably will happen though. Sometimes you don’t come up from the first one before the second one arrives. That’s the two-wave club. Small list. In that case the wave runner won’t help you. There is no such thing as a three-wave club. The picture I posted is Laird Hamilton surfing a spot in Tahiti. About a month ago a Tahitian pro died at the same spot on a wave less than half that size. He went over the falls headfirst and was essentially decapitated. That wave is probably going off in 4 to 5 feet of water max, over razor sharp coral. If you look at the photo close, you can see the turbulence in front of the wave as the water sucks out of the lagoon over the coral and towards the wave face. The trough of that wave is BELOW water level. That wave represents a whole new level in the standard of what is ride able even by a tow in.
