Hi,

BJJ Black Belt Leonardo Campello lands in Houston Thursday morning (4-5-01). He's heading to Austin but is going to stay in Houston to teach a special class Thursday evening at 7:00 pm. This will be a no-gi class and the fee is only $15!

Leonardo received his black belt from Albero Boheio (Albero grew up with Helio Gracie).

Does he have a school in Austin or is he just giving a seminar there? Also, are there any BJJ schools in Austin and are there any Muay Thai schools there for beginners?

It was a great seminar. He showed a lot of good moves. I'll be scheduling to have him back within the next week or two.

Wow. Tim is right. Leo was very smooth and showed some great subs and escapes that I haven't seen before. For all of you in and near Houston, this is an incredible deal for 15 bucks. He showed us new techniques for about an hour and a half, making sure EVERYONE had it down before moving on. Then we rolled for 45 minutes or so. I'm worn out and sore, but learned ALOT.
