No doubt Trigg dominated that fight, but if JJM had more experience or more of a killer instinct, he coulda mauled Trigg when he had him in the crucifix.

Ground control, I never said Trigg would destroy Renzo. I said he would beat him and have a tough time. The point I was making, is Renzo has a problem finishing opponents and Trigg is very adept at avoiding subs. Trigg would definitely get top position and he definitely punishes people whey they use guard on him.

If you think Trigg landed a lucky knee or JJM ran, or it was a lucky win, you're tripping bro. Trigg dominated his ass throughout that fight. There must have been 3 different occassions in between the pounding where Trigg just missed nailing JJM with a big knee.

Machado took some good shots throughout the fight. He continuously left himself open and finally got nailed. If Trigg left his arm open for 15 minutes and eventually got arm barred, would it be luck on Machado's part?

Ober writes that "by most accounts" Trigg beat Renzo in Abu Dhabi 1998. I really don't think that's the case, and if it is, the controversy is purely a product of the rAw team simply not understanding the rules and voicing their complaints publicly on the internet.

Those who have actually seen the match and understand the Abu Dhabi scoring system are much more likely to feel that Renzo won. The only gray area surrounds Renzo being awarded points for a sweep that occurred during a scramble, but one thing is CRYSTAL CLEAR upon viewing the match--Trigg did not earn either a point or an advantage, so the best he could've possibly hoped for was a decision win based on a scoreless (in both points and advantages) tie. Those who say that Trigg got "robbed" are either not entirely familiar with the match or AD rules, or are members or friends of the rAw team.

Everyone wants to see Renzo-Trigg in NHB, and I feel it's just a matter of time before a promoter makes this happen.

Cooter- That is what I said earlier without going into detail. You obviously know what you are talking about. Rico Chipparelli had a fit when Trigg lost. That is why no RAW team members have been invited back to Abu Dhabi. Trigg never passed Renzo's guard or came close to scoring a point. Thanks for the back up.

Keith- JJ is fighting Trigg with zero standup skills and one hand. He was able to catch Trigg in a Crucifix but could not strike him due to his handicap. Trigg is a bad ass. He did murder JJ on his feet. But he must not hit very hard because JJ never stepped backwards. He was very aggressive shooting on the wrestler on many occassions.

Renzo's standup is 10 times better than JJ's. I would like to see Trigg defend Renzo's thai kick. If Renzo catches Frank in the crucifix the fight will be over. I agree that Trigg would get the takedown. It would be a very tough fight that would probably go to a decision. I would pick Renzo.
