This is a thread where you can post what MMA training you did each workout session. By doing this I think it will give people ideas on training tips, workout methods, excerises used and much more.
I hope you guys think its a good idea and a way for us all to learn of each other and the beauty about this is it can go on for ages. Every time someone finishes there training session they can log it into this thread. It can be also be used as a reminder of what you have worked on recently and what you have neglected.
To start it off then,
Yesterday me and my workout partner did,
3x 2min rounds skipping (for warmup)
3x 2min rounds clinch work (moving into clinch with defence from the clinch. Working just on head control, no knees
2x 2min rounds pad work (punches and kicks. Same combination for each round)
4x 3 min rounds on heavy bag (just knees and elbows)
Approx 10 mins of continuos submission grappling (ground only)
about 15 stretching to finish.
