The best BJJ school in the Toronto area is Wagnney Fabiano Jiu-Jitsu. Located at 133 Turbine Drive, 416-744-6868. The instructors are Wagnney Fabiano (Toronto's highest ranking BJJer) and Leo Santos, Mark Bocek also trains at the club. What this means is that the only 3 World Class BJJers in all of Toronto and the GTA teach and train under one roof. Also, its the only place to go for authentic Brasilian Jiu-Jitsu ( BJJ taught by a champion from Brasil ).

Wagnney Fabiano a 2nd Degree Black Belt, has won: 3 Brasilian National titles, Pan-Am Champion, and a Bronze as a Black Belt at the Worlds. He is also one of the world's top submission wrestlers ( Grapplers Quest World Champion, silver medalist at the Arnold Gracie worlds as a pro). Undefeated in mixed martial arts comeptition (4-0 amateur, 2-0 pro), Wagnney is presently the TKO SLW World Champion. Wagnney's students have medalled at Pan-ams, won major mma titles, and most recently two Canadian submission wrestling championships. Leo Santos the #1 lightweight BJJ player in the world today ( they held a Black Belt Grand Prix this summer with all of the Black Belt world champs under 160 pounds from the previous two years and Leo won). Leo is a 3 time World Champion (8 time medalist), Pan-Am champion, with multiple Brasilian National titles, Brasilian National Submission wrestling champ, and bronze medalist at the 2001 Submission wrestling world championships. Leo's students have won many World Championships and Brasilian National titles. Mark Bocek, Canada's first world class Black Belt, is a multiple time Pan-am medalist and World Champion as a Purple Belt, 2 time Canadian submission wrestling champ, and 1-0 as a pro in MMA. The club has many other great students who are only too happy to help anyone improve their game or learn BJJ for the first time. In addition the club often has people like 4 time BJJ World Champion, 10-0 in MMA and #1 ranked in the world at 155 pounds, Vitor "Shaolin" Ribiero, give seminars. Beginners are welcomed with open arms and never used as practice fodder like at some of the other clubs. Ego is kept to a minimum on the mats because Wagnney,Leo and Mark are so humble, even though they are among the best in the world at what they do.
