  • My Back

Dammit. I must be getting old. Before you know it I'll be using a walker like Karl. Tuesday of last week I hurt my lower back when I bent over to wash my freaking hands at the sink. Then I stupidly went to jiu-jitsu the same day and went all out. Ended up taking the rest of the week off. Unfortunately a 4 day weekend meant I went on a bender and didn't get enough rest. I started training again this week and have been taking it easy. But it seems to be getting worse again.

Hey man, I feel your pain. I'm only 23 and I feel like I'm 123 some days. I tore a muscle in my lower back about eight months ago from training probably a little too hard (if there's such a thing). I was out of commission for 6 months. It wasn't fun! I especially hated not being able to train for that long. That's the longest I've ever been out. I'm back into training now, but I'm still not fully recovered. I have my bad days and can't stand on my feet long enough to break a sweat. It sucks!! So, just a word of advice...Take it easy for awhile!! At least until your feeling 100% again.

        Good Luck!

I have extreme soreness in my traps, lower back and neck. I just got back from a canoe trip up north. All those portages, damn having a bad lower back is a real pain in the @ss!

That's probably because of low impact of that Vienna sausage you call a pen!s.

I never have any problems with muscle soreness. I usually go through a bottle of tiger balm every week or so.
