Schools in Taiwan

One of my students will be moving to Taiwan and is looking to continuetheir training. ANy suggestions of good schools in Taiwan ?

what type of training is he looking for?

If he wants MMA training and submission grappling, I don't think he'll have much lucking finding it over there. The best thing he'd probably be able to find down there would be kickboxing, or a kung fu school that trains for full contact san shou and kuoshu competition. Other than that, TKD, wushu and traditional kung fu are pretty big over there...if that's good for him.

My understanding is that BJJ hasn't made it there yet, but Judo has a good following. I'd say check out the Chinese stuff if your there. If I went to Brazil, I would be looking for BJJ, and NOT CMA.

good point Water Dragon...

He might as well take the opportunity to try very good Chinese MA training rather than search in vain for the stuff that probably no one there is any good at.
