Depends if you want to be seen in a "name brand" or want something that you feel protects the eyes. Brands don't mean jack....whatever the brand - cheap or expensive, they all cost about 5 bucks to make. There are 10 buck polaroids that do a better job than 300 buck "Police" brands. A friend who is a optomotrist once told me that the only difference is the frames - the lenses in them are all roughly the same price.

Personally, I just go for the look, pay the bucks and don't worry about what they actually do. :-)
