Biggest surprise to me is Overeem sub win over Babalu.
The dude trains hard and is becoming quite a sub threat to the unwary.

Tell me about it EJ. Babalu is well suited for Rings rules. He's big, strong, skillful and doesn't tire out easily. Must've been a fluke leglock or something.

Overeem is a major upset winner... good for him. glad to see people improving drasticaly.
I'd really like to know more about Menne beating Traven via decision and Couture over Horn. I really thought Horn could pull that off. decisions are often VERY VERY VERY shady over in Rings.
          VERY

But I'm glad Minatuar is doing well.
he should be undefeated in NHB.

And how about Nogueira armbarring Tamura in 2:29???? Tamura who beat Renzo Gracie?

This sounds like an awesome event!

RINGS KOK turnament is intresting since it seems almost impossiable to predict. Unique rules, plus alot of little known international fighters, questionable judges decisons and an open weight class make it very different from any other event.

Any idea who will be in the B bracket?

My guess Hoffman, Volk Han and Kohsaka (they need another big japaneese name on the card since Tamura lost).

I think that Couture is THE MAN. A lot of people don't consider him a top fighter because of his unprepared sloppy loss to Enson, but man, Couture is great. He's a little like Don Frye, solid around the board. He would destroy Enson in a rematch. He seems like a great guy and is damn exciting to watch.
