Last night I was pondering about some matches that were so good (or didn't turn out to be) the first time so I thought they'd be good in rematches. Some of them would be
Kazushi Sakuraba vs. Renzo Gracie - Two of the best MWs out there doing what they do best. IMO if they fought 10 times Sak would win 6 or 7 of them but I still want to see my favorite fighter go against the only Japanese pro wrestler in MMA I hadn't heard of before I started watching fighting.
Sak vs. Vanderlei Silva - This one is probably happening 2 Prides from now but I want to happen soon for obvious reasons. Lets hope the rumors about Sak training Muay Thai so he can kick Silva's ass standing aren't true. Should be even better than the first one.
Francisco Bueno vs. Igor Vovchanchyn - I feel bad for Francisco because he got his ass kicked in a match he really should've won, and easily at that. He is a BJJ black belt with amazing wrestling skill and his striking has really improved. Not enough to stand up with the Vovster but enough to avoid his punches to take him down and sub him quicker than Igor KOed him. Francisco is getting the rematch, I'm just not sure when. Also he says he may fight in the next UFC, but from the looks of it he isn't. I haven't been in class in over a week since I'm in Jordan so I haven't been updated.
Dan Henderson vs. Silva - Just because the first one was so good. They can fight a thousand times and they'd probably split them 500/500. Two of the best out there going toe to toe.
I don't want to see a rematch between Silva and Yvel because Yvel sucks and Silva would kick his ass anyway so I don't need to see it. Maybe Pele vs. Matsui so he can finish him in the first minute this time instaed of trying to win by Frank Shamrock bitch slaps to the back of Tito Ortiz' head
