"If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle."
Stuart, I spy 2 spyderos, one delica and the other is an endura with a stainless steel body. And the one on the extreme right, it looks familiar but I cant quite think of the name...

My favourite knife is the bear claw from CRKT; I think highly about spyderco enduras; they are the Glocks of knives, uncospicuous, light, you can carry it all day without noticing.
Also the Kasper fighting folder is ergonomically perfect, albeit a bit too heavy, the same for CRKT M16s.
I do own a spyderco civilian, awesome look, very viciuous.
But in my opinion the best folders are from emerson knives.
For fixed blades, nothing ca beat a loveless 5" fighter, double edged and with micarta handle.
For production knives, randalls and cold steels are top.
The SRK is a great knife for the price; have you checked the bush ranger? fast in the hand for the size, and very good blade shape (I'm a bowie guy), if you sharpen the back of blade you'll have a VERY good fighting weapon.
Yea... I think I got my SRK for less than $50 U.S. at a gun show. I am not too familiar with the other knives (I also have a smaller Spyderco that I use at work).
I used to have the old school KA-BAR fighting knife also, but I gave it to my Dad. I just hope he doesn't have any Vietnam flashbacks and stick some of his neighbors!!!
Stuart,
Beautiful knives! I have a cold steel myself, but I messed it up a little bit. I wish I had a scanner to show you some of my stuff. I have a collection of swords. Japanese, Chinese, European, Fantasy, etc.
Some more for show, others very functional, full tang, etc.
