    help...

First, try and go to www.microsoft.com and download the latest IE explorer which is 5.5 or something. Then try this:

Disconnect from the Internet, and then start Outlook Express. If you are prompted to establish a Dial-Up Networking connection, click Cancel.

On the Tools menu, click Message Rules, and then click Mail.

Find the rule that is configured with either or both of the following actions, and then click to clear the check box next to it:

-Do not Download it from the server

    -Delete it from Server

    Click OK.

If that doesn't work, then I'm all out of ideas. Later!

From my team of PC gurus:

"Yes, there was a virus running around that corrupts files by encrypting them.

        Good luck getting it fixed.

The fix from Symantec was to reload the systems affected."

        Check this web page out:

If you continue to have problems, you may want to reload.

Sorry man, but we can't talk about this stuff according to TK. It's not "martial arts"

Can you be more specific on the symptoms of your problem? I have messenger loaded and it is running peachy on a T 1 inside a large company.

Ok, well I want to be able to chat with my Jiu Jitsu buddies so we can talk about the upcoming UFC and chat about the prospects of Tito and Chuck against the BJJ guys and my Yahoo messenger doesn't work.

I've installed and uninstalled YM a few times, I've closed down every thing and it still doesn't work.
After I open up YM, if I hit any button, it freezes, nothing works.
I don't know what else to do, I've tried the help section and that said to change the settings, which I 've done.

              nada.

OH, in that case we can certainly try to figure it out....

Under "Login" "Preferences" "Connection you should
be able to edit your connection setup so taht you will get in.

Mine is set at "Use proxies" because I am using a proxy server to surf the internet.

If you have a DHCP client you are working at, you should be able to use the same proxy server information that you use for your IE or Navigator web browser.

If this is not the case let me know and we will try to figure it out....

As long as you PROMISE you will use this only for MMA discussions...
