  • Rumble Zone World Grand Prix Championships

In addition to the many new tournaments Rumble Zone is launching, we are pleased to announce the inaugural Rumble Zone World Grand Prix Championships!

We have several Major Corporate Sponsors that are onboard to make this an awesome event. This will surely put MMA into the worldwide spotlight, and provide the best Fighters of each specific region a worldwide venue to showcase their talents.

    It's very simple:

There will be a 8-Man Tourney in each weight class to decide who is the "Best in the World" of the Regions that participate.

    Weight Classes:

    135 to 144.9; 145 to 154.9; 155 to 169.9; 170 to 184.9; 185 to 204.9; 205 to 264.9 and 265+

The specific regions are: United States, Canada, England, France, Australia, South America, Asia and Europe* (*other than those mentioned). A selection committee for each Region will be responsible for deciding the Candidates that will represent their Region. These Committees will work together with the Rumble Zone World Grand Prix Director in their selection process.

Each Region will send the winner of their qualifying 8-Man Tourney (held in their Region), to the MMA World Grand Prix that will be held in the United States in December 2002.

The qualifying Tournaments will be held in October 2002 in the specific Regions. The exact locations will be announced.

All US Fighters will report directly to the Rumble Zone US Grand Prix Director. For the "qualifying" 8-Man Tourneys, there will be a mandatory 1 week Training Camp before the event. All expenses will be paid. For the World Grand Prix 8-Man Tourney, there will be a mandatory 2 week Training Camp. All expenses will be paid.

There is no pay for these events. Only the satisfaction of knowing that you are the "best in the world"! Plus, a big World Grand Prix Title Belt to put in your trophy case.

All fighters will have all travel arrangements taken care of, to include: Airfare, Deluxe Hotel Accommodations, All Meals, Entertainment and a $50 per day "Lost Wage Replacement Stipend"

Everyone on this Forum is the first to learn of this exciting event. An official Press Release will be announced on Monday November 12th, 2001.

Who would you like to see represent your Country or Region?

All interested Fighters are encouraged to email their complete Bio and Fighter Resume to: talkusa@frontiernet.net

In the "subject line" please put: Grand Prix

This is for real - I know there will be the same "doubters" that seem to think I'm crazy, but this will be one of the brightest moments in MMA history.

    Thanks,

    Tom Coleman

We need Regional Directors for every Region except the USA. If you are interested, or know someone who would be perfect for the position, please email or call me ASAP.

        Thanks,
