Here's a couple quotes from Hagakure that I think apply here...
"The heart of a virtuous person has settled down and he does not rush about things. A person of little merit is not at peace but walks about making trouble and is in conflict with all"
"A person who is said to be proficient at the arts is like a fool. Because of his foolishness in concerning himself with just one thing, he thinks of nothing else and thus becomes proficient. He is a worthless person."
So how about if everyone just get along and act like the adults we claim to be and have some rational discussion?
