This is news to me. I knew about Caique, but Royce too. I was going to go up their this weekend and train, but now I'm not sure. My friend who I hadn't spoke to in awhile informed me of the current situation at Gracie Torrance

Sweep Em and Karlinhos I don't spend every moment of my life on the internet I come to this forum to post and reply because it is low key. Unlike other ones I've visited in the past.

I have not been to the Gracie Academy in almost 2 years! I have a friend who lives in Torrance who trains there and I talk to him occaisonally. I have spoken to him in a very long time, and since I was planning a trip up there I thought I'd give him a buzz, and he filled me in. I never saw it mentioned on here that Royce had left.

By the way my jiu Jitsu is very good. I received my blue belt before most of you were even training.

well, both sweep and i have been training since '93 and '94 respectively... and we both started with him and received our blues from him, many moons ago. so get off your high horse.

since you're so involved with royce, CONSTANTLY touting his name, you could at least make a minimal effort to keep informed as to what's going on with him.

you come to this forum just about EVERYDAY. maybe once a month you could visit your instructor's web site instead of coming here. hell, maybe even JOIN! he constantly updates techniques on his website and makes himself available to answer questions... personally! there, all of your prayers are answered. you might even be able to develope a relationship with him! heck, maybe he'd invite YOU to be in the next "gracie train"!! I'm an old guy and I doubt that you started any type of martial arts training before I did.
I started Kung Fu in 1972.

I stated traininig at the Torrance Academy in January of 1993.
