Merrilo vs Mario at last Pride

What the heck was Bustamonte trying to do when he was flying into Sperrys guard with his head and arm?
Was it an elbow to groin attempt?
Was he teasing Sperry into going for a triangle?
What the heck was that?
It looked like it really threw Mario off to.
Any Ideas?

I'm not sure, but that was a crazy ass fight! As they faced off in the ring, I'm thinking an easy victory for the "Zen Master". The only way he could lose is if he tries to slug it out. So what does he do you ask? Immediately throws down, gets flattened, and, in my opinion, never recovers.

The Ninja pulls off/or gets away with some crazy stuff.
That flying stomp was pretty effective for him,as it kept Mario on his back unable to strike back.He kept it up so he had no time to get on his feet.
A total slugfest exept for the times on the ground.
Some nice escapes on ninjas part from Sperrys arm attacks.
