  • To BJJ or not

Do you guys think I should throw in some BJJ with my Wing Chun? I've been thinking about this for a while and its seems like it would be a good idea. However if I do decide to add BJJ to my arsenal it wont be for like another year so I can get a better understanding of WC and not mix up the priciples. Here's a link to the school that is available to me http://www.debraziljiujitsu.com/

How old are you? If your still young, no need to rush into BJJ so quickly, in a street fight, I think striking would be more beneficial.

If you have time, do both, if not I think Wing Chun would be best for now.

**IN THEORY** A good WC guy does not get taken down because he protects his centerline.

I like BJJ a lot but I think you'll be pretty happy with WC if you stick with it.

A can happen in a year.

But if you have the time, energy and money, train BJJ sooner than a year or two......maybe in 6 months, try to cross train.

          that's what I would do

I've been to three different schools over the years, trained with dozens of black belts and no two instructors are alike.

Go to a BJJ school and watch, then take a free class......

                  BJJ

As Sweepem said you should cross train sooner rather than later. Remember anything that will heplp you get even 1%better in the long run is worth it.

One can never have no much knowlage.......

                            ?

I am always wondering why some people always down others MA. I was talking to a friend who practices Muay Thai and he is alway dissing other MA.

Is there a reason? I dont care what MA it is as long as it helps me.
