Who’s going to the surf-bjj camp in San Clemente, CA in August? Last year was amazing and I’m really looking forward to this year. For those of you who don’t know, it’s three days: Fri-Sun, Aug 2, 3, 4. You can come all three or any of the three. The whole thing is being organized by the Choked-Out Surfer.
Cost is only $50 total! That includes training with lots of well-known black-belts: this year it’s Megaton Dias, Rodrigo Medeiros, James Boran, and others. Choked-Out told me yesterday that there may also be some surprise guests, and my jaw dropped when I heard their names….
Seems to me this is an incredible bargain on training with top instructors, and I’m surprised more people aren’t talking about it? With all the events going on in So Cal this summer, this is the one I’m looking forward to the most.
The money, by the way, goes to the instructors, not to Choked-Out. He’s doing this out of his love of the sport. That’s the kind of effort that deserves our support IMO. It also supports bjj in So Cal. Go to the camp!
Here’s where you can go for all the info and to register: http://www.acgjiujitsu.com/news.html
Go here for pix from last years camp, including The Shrimp preparing to escape as if by magic from one of Roy Harris’s armbars … not: http://www.acgjiujitsu.com/Surf_Camp/
See you there!!!
