  • what would be the best japanese jujitsu style to take and why??

i took mushin ryu and it's very realistic...

the only thing bad about it is they train you in a method ..that your apponent doesn't know martial arts...

brazilian jiu jitsu they train you to be skilled against another jiu jitsu artist.. if they do this you counter with this and this and that ...so when you do fight an amatuer you are super gonna kill him...

but is the way they teach good??

let me know what style is good.. but over all i think mushin ryu is great...

How many fights have you been in with other martial artists?

2 karate guys, a tkd guy... some guy that said he was in kung fu.. or what ever... i won.. the karate guy was tough but he stopped using karate out of frustration and started street fighting..
cause i was clocking him. the karate guy kept waiting for me to throw something.. and i kept fainting him and do something else..he rushed in and damn he did get me hard.. he cut my chin open with this knuckle.. but i beat his ass in the end...

ok, ok, i see where you are going with this.. but still..

it's good to know how to fight against another martial artist ... that way you have the maximum knowledge..speaking of knowledge ... i can't spell loloololol

Knowledge and spelling aren't mutually inclusive.

Forget about all this jiu jitsu mumbo jumbo. You need some good Ninjitsu training!

Sounds to me like what you're already doing is working out well, especiall the web site business...

I like my style, but I don't think you would. Besides, it's only taught in two places.

I learn a system of modern Jui Jitsu that trains to fight against any and all types of attacks . It's lineage can be traced to Diato and Hakko Ryu but it is much more americanized .
As far as wich one I think is the best I would say that Te jitsu or Diato ryu would be my picks because of there versatilty and training methods

Mushin Ryu? Did you study with Dave Bellman? If so, did you like studying with him?

professor bellman is a great teacher.. i'm going to go back to his class..

i love what he talks about.
the only reason i'm looking for the meaning of mushin ryu.. just cause i'm curious... nothing more...

just wish his classes were more then 2 days a week. when i took brazilian it was 5 days...

but i'm so interested in stand up fighting that i want an edge.. and proffessor bellman convinced me.. that one attacker is coo but more then one.. you dont wanna go to the ground...

but i like both.. jj & bjj so i have to talk to proff Belman.. i might just come to his other classes just to watch..
