  • Looking for quality instructional grappling videos

I posted a message on the JKD forum, as this is the style I am training in. I was wondering if anyone can give me the names of some good grappling videos, that are more street-oriented (as opposed to sport)? I am looking to supplement my JKD, with some good grappling.

I have looked into Mario Sperry, Erik Paulson, Matt Thorton and Dan Henderson, would you guys recommend these tapes? If so, what is the series name?

I appreciate any help you could provide,

    Hi there

Sounds like you have a good list. For your skill level and interests I would definately recomend the Paulson 'Best Defense' series: his other tapes are also VERY good, but may be a bit too advanced for you if you just want to supplement your training with 'some good grappling'.

Also consider getting the old Renzo Gracie/Craig Kukak BJJ videos - they are an excellent introductory series.

Mario Sperry Vale Tudo Series 1. Look at the reviews, it's the best on the market.
