  • Best "raw" bjj video?? Please advise.

Okay, I am looking for the best street-fighting-type video of BJJ. Public competitions, challenge matches, etc.

Mario Sperry Vale Tudo Series 1 - Meant to be REALLY good. Check out the links and if you get them let me know. I'm going to get them soon too, so if you don't happen to get them before me, I'll try to remember to make contact and rave to you about them!

U can't go wrong with Ze' Mario... there are many reviews on the Vale Tudo series that claim they're the best of the best, and he also spars with Murilo Bustamante (current UFC Middleweight Champion) in the videos. I am even thinking of buying them in the near future too...

Sperry for the "raw" and Pedro Carvalho for a more traditional BJJ style... check on Pedro too, just in case.

BUT has anybody personally bought Sperry's video's.
Can anybody confirm if they are good valur for money?
It's a lot of money to dish out, and then find out they are not as good as the hype.

Anyone's first hand experiece of these would be very interesting.

I've considered them several times but cant make my mind up?

Someone out there must have taken the plunge !

There was a Jim Doogle that posted about selling his Sperry tapes at ebay. I just posted a new thread about this matter...

            Later...

It sounds to me like you're looking for fight footage, rather than instructionals. In that case I'd recommend Gracie in Action, vols I and II. You can buy them from the Gracie Academy web site.
