I've been thinking about changing my Minecraft character skin but most of the sites I find seem to have a lot of duplicates or low-quality uploads. Where do you usually look for skins — custom creators, skin databases, or Minecraft community sites? I'm especially interested in unique skins rather than the default-style ones. ModsCraft has a large collection of Minecraft skins and skin packs, so I'm curious what other players are using these days.

I know this thread is a bit old, but I wanted to mention The Skindex and Planet Minecraft as great sources. Both sites have a wide variety of unique skins made by talented creators. Also, checking out some dedicated Discord communities for Minecraft can lead to discovering custom designers who take commissions. Anyone got recent favorites or hidden gems they want to share?

For unique Minecraft skins, I often use https://modscraft.net/en/skins/. They offer a wide variety of free skins for different tastes, from animals to popular movie characters. You can sort by popularity or latest additions, which makes it super easy to find something cool and distinctive. I've downloaded a few from there and really liked the quality and variety.
