  • KEN and TANK DO YOU CARE?

Just curious to hear what other UFC fans think about the return of Ken Shamrock and Tank Abbott...With the way UFC is now are either of these men going to be legitimate threats to anybody worth mentioning? Will they be the draw that they once were or just seen as "past their prime" fighters? After Kens loss does anyone else think that marks the end of the Lions Den? Meaning that their fighters will not have the clout that they use to and coming out of the Lion's Den will not mean near as much as it once did...

i never thought ken was much of a fighter, and tito just proved that once and for all.

Im not really a fan of shamrock but it was good to see him return. I hear he has a 2 fight deal under his contract but im not too sure about that. The lions den just has to re group and know that they aren't the best fighters anymore. I don't think ken took the match with tito very seriously. He looked better with his fight against frye. As for tank, when they said we have someone special I was hoping it to be bas rutten or someone else not tank abbott. I’m not a fan of him either but he does put on a good fight. I think what ufc is doing is bring back some of the big names to draw more attention to it to bring it up in the mainstream. They are doing a good job of it but I don’t want it to turn into wrestling with all this hype and everything before the event.

Yea Ken has either 3 fights left in his contract or 2 depending on how you rou read the contract, I believ he signed for three and the Tito fight was the first one...

I would like to see Tank come back, so I can watch him get beaten down like the unskilled fat boy that he is. I would like to see someone take his milk money.

How come the Lion's Den's reputation is affected just because its founder got old? Everyone gets too old and starts to lose, so why does that ean his whole school is on the way out?

              Because they are OLD!

I think it has more to do with Ken's behavoir and demeanor than anything else. He started out as well respected, win or lose. Since he founded the Lion's Den, he has done a lot of things that are frowned upon by fans and other fighters alike.

              Just my opinion.
