Yeah, I heard the rumor that Conditioning your shins can cause cancer. It is a silly folly.
Cancer, as any somewhat educated man in the matter would know, is cause by a foreign agent entering into the body, whether it be Second Hand Smoke, UV Rays, or many other things. What EXACTLY causes cancer? No one really knows. If they did, they'd be able to cure it a hell of alot more efficently than they do right now.
Beating the hell out of your shins is not going cause cancer.
As for the poll itself, rolling bottles is a shortcut to condition shins. But like any shortcuts, it has it's side effects. AKA: Fractured Shin Bones. It deadens the nerves in your shins real nice, but doesn't actually condition your shin bones at all for impact, so when you DO kick someone else in the shins, you're gonna have a little surprise in the morning.
The best way to condition shins IMO: Hard ass work. Kick pads, or banana bag. Or a banana tree if you happen to life near one.
Banana trees have a rubbery type bark that gives way, as opposed to say a Maple tree.
So I'm gonna have to go with Both A and B.
