Guys, guys, guys, Tyson is a boxer. Gary Kasparov is a chess player. Kobe Bryant plays basketball. Igor Vovchanchin is a MMA fighter. If the four of them get together for a MMA tournament Igor will win. If they get together for a chess tournament, well...If they get together for one of one b-ball.... and goddamnit, if they get together for a boxing match tournament Tyson will kick their ass. Why the hell does Tyson have to fight MMA to prove something? That's not what he does and he never claimed that he could take a MMA fighter at their own game. By the reasoning of MMA fans, then Rickson, Frank, Kerr, and everone else in MMA is chicken because they won't stand up and box with Tyson.

Actually, you're wrong...
The sport we all love and respect is called Mixed Martial Arts, and Boxing is a Martial Art. Just like Vovchanchin's a kickboxer, Mark Kerr's a wrestler, and Royce Gracie's a Jiu Jitsuer (lol, ok, I'm stupid leave me alone). The fact of the matter is, people want to see a world class boxer in MMA. A chess player is not a Martial Artist, but a boxer is. So everyone has the right to want to see, and dream up matches, between Tyson and [insert random Gracie here].

Tyson may or may not have the potential to be a great MMA fighter (he would certainly be good), but his fans have a point:
Why would he take a pay-cut to fight in the UFC or wherever when he can make millions fighting scrubs like Golota?
Tyson may be a cur, but he ain't too stupid.
Also, if Coleman or somebody broke his neck, his "invincible" reputation would be shattered forever, even after his spine healed. That would be bad for business as well.
