  • Bustamonte Wins and remains undefeated..

In addition to Delucia winning a decision ( since returning from his injury), Bustamonte won a decision over Kikuta.
    He remains undefeated.
who else has never lost in NHB?
    The list is shrinking..

I was thinking the same thing...

    Busta
    Rickson
    Henderson
    Fujita (?!)
    Bas (short career)
    Josh Barnett (I think)

No one else springs to mind.

Hayato Sakurai probably has the most impressive undefeated record--he hasn't lost in 15 fights, including victories over Kaoru Uno, Alex Cook, Marcelo Aguilar, and Haroldo Bunn. Frank Trigg is also at least 6-0 against quality opponents, although he claims a record of 33-0. IMO it's just a matter of time before these 2 get it on and shrink the list even more.

I don't care much for Delucia since he was a cocky dude, but I am glad to see that he is back after that horrendously ugly knee bending injury. Knees are just not meant to be bent sideways. The only uglier leg injury was Joe Theisman's fracture on national television.

        Bustamonte is a hot!

I believe Tom Erickson is undefeated. I believe he even knocked out Kevin Randleman

Uh, L3FTHOOK, I assume you're just joking, since Erikson lost last night to Heath Herring.

Sweep, I don't even know what to make of this: "Bustamonte is a hot!"

Cooter your right, I just read the results not to long after I posted. Good win for Herring, although I never seen Erickson fight I knew he came in undefeated.

"Busta is a hot!" = Busta is hot! (?)

LMAO. This confirms it... I KNEW you were winking at me the last time we saw each other!

                      What about Hughes?

I think Matt Hughes has 1 loss but I can't remember who beat him? Possibly he might be undefeated, even though most of fights were against fighters his own weight. I think of any open weight class fights Hughes has done except for Rings.

This "undefeated" rep. is rather stupid. The best fighters in all the divisions have lost before, simply because they competed regularly. Win streaks like Sak, Frank, Sakurai, and Royce are more impressive to me than being "undefeated". And the of course, decisions are another x factor. Bustamante lost to Ericson (there weren't judges but if there were) if we are to hold everyone to the same standards and include decisions as losses. Then did Bas really beat Randleman, did Randleman really beat Rizzo, did Tito really beat Vandelei, did Beneteau really beat Barretto...etc. Because some guys have lost judges' decisions before, does that mean they are no longer undefeated? I mean if they were able and willing to continue then they weren't really defeated, right? (by Gracie standards)

Miyagi is right, who gives a shit that he is undefeated?

Consider that Bustamente has had a whopping 3 nhb fights in 97, 98, 99 and 2000 (Bohlander, Anjo, and Kikuta).

If your undefeated it probably means that either you have not fought enough or you have not fought against fighters at your level.

By the way Hughes was choked out by AMC fighter Dennis Hallman previously in Extreme Challenge.
