  • Thankyou ATF from the children of the world

I am pleased to read articles about the ATF confiscating firearms from dealers that have questionable character.
The sooner the U.S is free of firearms the better. think what life would be like with no kids taking daddys gun to school and blowing away their school friends. This seems to happen on a regular basis in the U.S. Surely if only one life is saved due to gun control then its all been worth it.
We dont need guns anyway. The government does a great job of protecting its citizens. There is absolutely no need for normal citizens to keep dangerous firearms in their homes.
It only leads to heartache and bloodshed. I praise the ATF and I hope the United Nations bring in a world wide form of gun control.
Only then will we be safe on our streets.

Excellent observations master Shimora. You truly show the mark of someone that has been enlightened through years of personal discovery.

I only want the world to be a safer place for your generation Patterson my friend. A world with no guns would be Nirvana. I eagerly await the day.
The UN are currently working on an international standard on gun control. All citizens will hand in their implements of death and the governments will appoint more Police officers to make sure these laws are enforced.

Ive heard that National Guard bases are currently being converted to Detention Camps to detain the law breakers that refuse to hand in their guns. Many National Guard bases have recently had reels of barbed wire placed on the inside fences. Also machine gun tripods have been installed in the observation towers. This indicates that they are planning on keeping the lawbreakers inside these bases. Other forms of detention centers are being set up around the country as I write this. Its about time this happened in my opinion.

You know just because there are no guns does not mean there will be no murder. Japan, for instance, does not have guns, but still has a murder rate just like anywhere else. In fact, the crimes that are committed seem more grissly to be honest. When I was there last year, a female weightlifter was chopped to pieces and thrown into one of the harbors. So people still kill regardless. BUT the homicide rate in Japan is MUCH lower than the US. But again Japan is much smaller than the US.

That is the point Ryu. Yes there will always be murder in this world. The difference is if I run into a crowd with a machetti im likely to get one or two people before I am stopped. If I have an automatic weapon I could mow down dozens of people before I am stopped.
You hit the nail on the head when you said that the murder rate is a lot lower in Japan.

The irresponsiblity of the average gun owner in the U.S is a real problem also. How the hell do all these kids get access to their daddys guns and take them to school? Was the thing left on the coffee table? People obviously cant handle that kind of responsibility so we should not burden them with it. The police are there to protect society, why does society think it needs guns?

Hmm that's a good point, actually. I think what most people are afraid of is that if guns are "banned" let's say, that the criminals will still have access to them in some way shape or form, and that they will have no means of protecting themselves when the police are not there. And we all have to admit that the police cannot be there ALL the time.
But I'm not really saying much here. I'm not really on any side of this debate right now. I can see both sides of people's views. Call me a Daoist

I feel the same way, both arguements for both sides are legit.

Shimora, you appear to be slipping as a troll. It is a disturbing thing to see a once vital example of internet trolldom reduced to such feeble, stumbling, inept, transparent trolls. It reminds me of watching Ali’s last few fights. Difficult and sad to behold. (sigh…) They just never know when to hang it up. They always think they have one last troll in them and ………… nothing.

Learn from this grasshoppers, retire from the troll game while you still have some dignity left to you.

And now, a moment of silence for a once fine troll……..

The theory that you need a gun because criminals have guns is a strange one. Do people have visions of a gunfight with a criminal. Do we stand in the main street and both draw?
The argument that "If guns are outlawed only criminals with have guns" is not a valid one in my opinion.

Mickey Finn your inability to distinguish between a "troll" post as you call it and a genuine post that I believe in is tragic.
You boys are so quick to use the troll label when someone offers a view point that differs from your own. Can you not accept the fact that at least 50% of the world shares my views? Are they all Trolls?

Sounds like a genuine thread to me Shimora!

My thoughts lean more towards the side of eliminating guns altogether - with the exception of sport hunting, that is.

In that childrens book "the three billy goats gruff", wasn't the name of that troll hiding under the bridge Mickey Finn ??

                        Just joking MF...

                        here's another one....."Go away Mickey...you Fin" !! lol

Shimora I agree with everything you said except the comment about you being stopped after just killing a couple of people in a crowd with a machetti. I agree a normal man would be stopped, but you are underestimating yourself if I dare say. Mickey it saddens me to see you interpret things to harshly, the world must truly be a sad place for you and your viewpoints.
