okay, yea Oleg Taktarov...I thought I saw him before. Although I can't make a fair assestment of his fighting ability. It showed potential. Know where he is lately? I haven't seen him

Pedro at one time was close to being a heavyweight champion for the UFC. That was the height of his prime. I don't think, he'll ever regain that again.

Oleg has been in a little trouble lately but I don't really believe this. This was from the new york post from about a month ago.

MODEL HITS FIGHTER WITH $10M SUIT

            By DAREH GREGORIAN

January 7, 2003 -- Former American Ultimate Fighting champ "The Russian Bear" did some Ursa Major damage to a diminutive Manhattan woman, hitting her so hard it ended her modeling career, a $10 million lawsuit charges.
Oleg Taktarov "is a human weapon," said Yana Alexander's lawyer, Barry Zone. "He really beat her up pretty good. It's been a real ordeal."

Taktarov, a jujitsu expert who twice captured top honors as the world's foremost bare-knuckle fighter, said the charge left him "kind of speechless."

"It's just ridiculous. I would never hit her. That never would have happened," he told The Post in a phone interview from his Los Angeles home. "We were friends."

The alleged incident happened on Feb. 26, 2002, when Taktarov was taking Alexander back to her East Village apartment, and "willfully, maliciously and without cause, justification or provocation struck [her] in the face with his hand, knocking her to the ground," the suit says.

The blow from the Siberian native caused her "to bleed profusely for more than one hour," the papers said. Zone said he doesn't know what sparked the attack. "He just went ballistic. He punched her in the face and fractured her nose and caused a concussion. She was a mess."

The punch left Alexander's nose disfigured, and derailed her efforts to become a full-time model, Zone said. The suit seeks monetary damages for pain, suffering, emotional distress and lost income.

"I helped her with her acting. We had the best relationship as friends," said Taktarov. "This must be some mistake. It's so weird."

10 million? Surely she didnt lose 10 million by not being able to model. She wouldn't have made that much if she modeled her whole life.

Some of these lawsuits are just absolutely stupid. Like these people that tried to sue McDonalds for serving unhealthy food. Only a greedy American could come up with something that dumb.

Thanks for the backup Shadi. I admit i got pissed off at Bri Thai. My apologies, i didnt mean to state at all that i could kick Bas Ruttens ass, i dont know how Bri Thai got that at all from my post, so in return i flamed him back. I thought they spoke english in the UK like us, but whatever. It was childish of me to say that i would/could kick Bri Thais ass. My apologies

No, you serious?! I knew I hadn't seen him since the UFC in the teen range. I think UFC is like at thirty something, I can't really remember. I hope to see him in the octagon again.

yea you know she wasn't that good looking for a 10 million lawsuit. Or we would have heard of her by now. But just because he is Oleg, she is going to stick him hard for 10 million.

A lot of times in these situations. People (common or not celebs) instigate celebs reactions. Look at Mike Tyson and the incident with that woman. She came to his hotel room about three o' clock in the moring. She showed up in a towel, and she had to nerve to say she wanted to talk. Tyson say it as something else, and then he is charged with rape. Another one I can remember, Charles Barkley through some guy through the window, in a club. The guy was talking some kind of smack to Barkley, I mean just in his face. It's sad that Oleg has to go through this, but that's the life of the rich and famous.
