    It's Mikes eccentric spending a reckless abuse of himself and others that showing up on his face. No excuse in the Holyfiled fight for such a outburst and Mike knew it and apologized maybe just to keep fighting.
    Rich or poor mike is mike and should spend some of his big bucks on a shrink

          Mana Maori tattoo

          I havent posted in this area before, but would like to comment on his tattoo. What he has is a slap in the face to all Maori (New Zealand's Polynesians) The design, called Ta moko is something that is extremely sacred, and represents the pride and heritage of a people. I like Tyson as a fighter, and even with his antics, can't hate on how he lives his life, but the tattoo just makes me think he's finally flipped his lid. The tattoo is something thats done ceremonially by a priest called tohunga, soot ink, and a mallet. it's a process involving prayer( karakia) and a great deal of respect. traditionally, each design represents something of your genealogy, like what their social status was, if you were married, position, trade, and even where you came from. I like mike, but come on, there are other designs you could have used instead of choosing the latest "wow thats cool" design.

                Jeeze you guys!! Nobody said Boo when Danero bulked up 50lbs. for a role. He's just really getting into his role. So what if it will prevent him from doing others in the future.

                I have it on good authority that he is prepping for an upcoming role in an after school special called "Queequeg and me". It's about a New Bedford Honor student (Danny) who is constantly being picked on by local bullies. A character from his favorite novel, Moby Dick, comes to life when he tries to hide while being chased and stumbles upon an old sea chest. The sea chest is wrapped and locked by a world Heavy Weight Title Belt, but when Danny rubs it, POOF, out come his hero Queequeg. You'll be moved to tears by this heart tugging story of an unlikely friendship that endures the hardships ahead of them. You'll be amazed as Queequeg uses his pugilistic, harpooning and cannibalistic talents to bring young Danny to triumph and ultimately to help him confront his fears and best the bullies in a school spelling bee...

                Mike comments about his role in this Melville inspired story;
                "The rest of his story shows how shallow his optimism was, as Melville leads him (and the untragic American audience) by slow degrees, but remorselessly, toward tragic truth. To be sure, Aeschylean choruses became involved, acted, and suffered as the other choruses in Greek drama for the most part did not. But it is significant of Melville's task of rendering his tragedy probable to his age that Queequeg frames and pervades the story as no Greek chorus does. But this is hardly adequate to describe his total participation in the triumphant action. He is a constant link to the known and familiar. He is average, goodhearted humanity, though somewhat more given to meditation than most and (as he says of himself) "quick to perceive a horror."
                Mike adds the section that drew him to the role;
                "...well to be on friendly terms with all the inmates of the place one lodges in. Only gradually does this hope come to be fully tested. All the little horrors of the early stages of his adventures are accommodated to this hearty, comic vision." This parallel his own incarceration experiences. One section that was edited out is when Danny shares his bed with the terrifying Queequeg, and rejoices in the evidence of natural goodness even in this pagan cannibal. But soon after, Queequeg's rescue of a man who falls in front of a TCBY on the trip to Nantucket confirms his faith in his new friend and in this "mutual jointstock world" where Christians and cannibals live and let live.

                It's amazing what you'll do when your sick and stuck at home with a fever.

                This was just a figment of William's feverish imagination.. If you believe this, I got a pair of.....oh god I'm going to puke.................................................................................

                  What Mike Tyson has on his face, including what he does to himself is HIS own business. If you don't like it... Tough luck. Maybe you guys were Tyson idolizers that became crushed by his actions? Whatever the case, you're no better by judging him by his looks.

                    not tryin to judge him, like I said it's his life. What I object to is his use of something that he has no knowledge of, it's like each design belongs to a person or family (whanau), so he shoulda stuck to some other way cool design. The Maori are synonomous with warriorhood, and if he's tryin to identify thats cool, but there are other ways. If anything, if he wants to be treated like a warrior he should act like one. A warrior can do more than just kick someones ass, though I agree he should be able to do so in defense of his village, tribe, family or self. He should be a role model for other young warriors to look up to. There is a difference between just a badass and a warrior, thats all im saying.

                        Lighten up Francis.

                        I could care less what he does to himself. I was just poking fun. I guess some folks just have the old PC stick shoved a little too deep.
