I have been looking around the net for a couple weeks for some good quality videos that show realistic training/sparring/self-defense techniques in action. However I have found the equivalent of, well, actually I haven't found anything at all. Any suggestions? Websites? Anything? Thanks!

redzone international warriors series perhaps...iv only seen one, wasn't as much a self defence tape as a introduction to the martial art it coverd. But, the preview for other redzone stuff looked pretty good.....

When three self defense questions are asked in a single 24 hour period, I have a tendency to repeat myself. I give the same answers to all the requests for self defense materials. Here they are again for you: Sa...just kidding. He and Richard Dimitri are the best I can find. If I come across someone better, I'll be telling you about them. Until then, my answer will be pretty standard.
From now on I will recommend George Dillman, Ninjutsu and Billy Blanks' Tae Bo for the ultimate in personal protection, fitness, and spiritual fulfillment.Last edited by ryanhall; 02-28-2003, 12:04 AM.

Kelly Worden, Paul Vunak, Blauer?
Hey Ryan,
I am starting to get the feeling that you think highly of Dimitri and Sammy Franco. lol
Have you seen any Vunak tapes? How different are the tapes you recommend from Vunak's?
I have also heard a lot of good things about Tony Blauer though I have never seen anything by him. Have you seen his stuff?
Kelly Worden has a two-tape series on street fighting that is pretty good.
I just saw the first tape yesterday as one of the guys in my gym gave it to me. He swore that Kelly Worden is an incredibly tough dude.
Anyhow, that's not relevant. The tape seems to be a good street fighting tape. Additional to his training scenes, he has filmed scenes in real life scenarios. There are situations where he is walking in a parking lot with street clothes when suddenly an attacker emerges as he is getting into his car. Obviously a situation where you have about a split second to react.
I found that part very cool, needless to say.
You guys might want to look at Kelly Worden's tapes.
