The law of tyranny:
1. Any power that can be abused will be abused
2. Abuse always expands to fill the limits of resistance to it.
3. If people don't resist the abuses of others, they will have no one to resist the abuses of themselves, and tyranny will prevail.

What did you say spanking monkey kung fu? lol. Sorry I just had to say it.
I dont know much about it. I do know they use odd angle attacks. A lot of feints and misdirection stuff. The whole premise is built upon confusing the attacker. I bet it would be difficult to learn and even more difficult to perform. You would spend a lot of time and energy learning something that’s most likely worthless. Just my opinion.

Well, as I've mentioned in two former posts, a few years ago while in college I ran into a guy that knew drunken monkey kung-fu. To say the least, I wasn't very impressed. Attacks were made from very low angle stances, sort of a pouncing movement I recall. None were very effective. I remember the guy was able to grab a hold of my leg, since he was so low, but couldn't do anything with it. I was on my back and pulled him into my guard, executed a guillotine and he tapped out pretty quick.... so much for drunken monkey... It's obvious this guy wasn't an expert, but I'd stick to solid martial arts.

Man, all i can say is: Believe...
I know many martial arts, and drunken kung-fu is not really a solid style... just like actual kung fu, there are so many different forms of it which are all so different... i practice one form of it called drunken kung-fu of the god holding a big jar... funny, and pretty funky name, but man, it's sweet stuff... i love it. i should say that i enjoy it most probably because of the way they move, and the technique; all high fly, and twisty... very nice. it's very effective, i would say the best way of using it is probably blending it to your own style and doing some mix-&-match.
