  • Who are you voting for tomorrow?

This is a real exciting thing for me being my first election [well not really exciting, but a lot of people talk about it anyway] and I was wondering who everyone would vote for. I dont need too long of an explanation why Bush is an idiot, Gore is evil or Nader isn't gonna win shit and if he does, he's not gonna accomplish anything; just a simple Bush, Nader, Gore or Gracie will do.

My vote goes to one Al Gore...

    Who do you guys got?

As I'm sure you all know by now, Al Gore gets my vote.

He is both smarter and more compassionate than Bush, and has way more experience and political skill than Nader.

If he had any charisma, he'd be a perfect candidate.

I'm doing a write-in, and voting for weed smoker, beer guzzler, and surf-destroyer "Mickey Finn".

If he wasn't foreignor, I'd vote "Underdog" in 2000.

        Nader

Gore would be perfect if putting drug profits before the lives of humans were perfect.

However, i'll vote for him because I traded my Nader vote to a person in VA which is totally locked for Bush. So really i'm voting for Nader in VA while my friend is voting for Gore in FL. Understand?

              try reading a newspaper.

              this is old news.

dude flipped his position right when he announced his candidacy.

Sorry I don't have time to pore over the newspapers finding dirt on the candidates.

Hmmmm. That is a disturbing article. Then again, it is written from a biased viewpoint by an AIDS activist organization. Intellectual property is one of the cornerstones of international law, so I can see why Gore would be zealous about enforcing it. But, on the other hand, lives are at stake, so maybe we shouldn't enforce absolutes. I'm sure discount prices could be worked out for African AIDS patients, and U.S. drugs are usually safer and more effective than "home-grown" variants.

Remember that there are two sides to every issue. I'd be interested in hearing Gore's explanation. I'm not defending Gore's position, but I'm not going to change my opinion of the man based on one article without hearing the other side.

Nader is a good man, but that doesn't make him automatically qualified to be president.

                    I agree, to a point.

I try not to demonize politicians. Most mean well. But I can't say the same for some of Bush's backers. They are the ones that scare me, because they want a president that they can control, not one who considers the interests of the entire population.

I think you and I are on the same side, bro.
