  • Kimo vs. Tank

This will be the most interesting if not least technical fights on the next UFC card. Who do you think will win and why?

I think Kimo's chin will get tested. However, he has been training in BJJ since his defeat to Royce and since he also dropped Joe Son Do.

I think it will go 1 round max, Kimo will rush Tank. Tank will back step and throw a couple. One lands squarely and knocks Kimo back 5 feet. Tank rushes Kimo to throw more, but Kimo goes for the double leg. Suprisingly, Tank will sprawl and throw bombs to Kimo's body and land another one that dizzies Kimo, but Kimo will hold on and get Tank on his back.

Kimo will throw a couple of his own bombs from the mount and will land an arm bar. Kimo wins by submission 3:00 rd 1.

Well, Kimo realized that he tired too quick at his weight whe he fought Gracie, then he lost a lot and found that he took a beating at a lighter size, so how is he coming into this fight. Yeah, I don't think this will be a long fight because both fighters really can't go the distance and still have a lot in them. Kimo better take Tank down or his chin won't only be tested but it will be popped.

To tell you guys the truth, Tank hasn't done much in the octagon. The knock on Tank is that he hasn't been able to hold his own against fighters of his size and caliber... And for the most part, it's true.

While Kimo is not the greatest fighter, he'll beat Tank. Tank's conditioning hasn't improved much with age and he'll run out of gas, unless he can surmount a knockout early.

Tank's best asset is probably his ringside commentating.

Your probably right about Tank's best attribute. This match is more hype than anything, it won't be too interesting.

You are right about Tank being able to fight for free. His contract, that he had with Ted Turner for Turner's now defunct WCW, made Tank a millionaire. So this fighting stuff is basically just for fune for him.

Kimo has victories over Paul Varelans, Bam Bam Bigelow, Sakuraba and Pat Smith. His skill set has definitely improved since he fought Gracie. He has also trimmed from 280 to 230s. Bam Bam Bigelow (the prof wrestler who dabbled in MMA) is built like Tank. Kimo won via submission with rear naked choke; the same technique that a bleeding Taktarov beat Tank with.

People look at the Taktarov/Tank fight and say that Tank should have one from the huge cut that he opened from his ground and pound. Had there been no ref to stop the fight, Tank would have slipped into unconsciousness from the choke....

Funny as it seems. I think Bam Bam made a debut in NHB. Check out the clip from sherdog.com

Kimo beat Sakuraba? If that's true, it doesn't show up on sherdog.com

Even tho Sak is a lot lighter he'd probly still beat him like I'd beat Spanky.

Kimo beat Tank the same way that Takada beat Coleman. With some planning.
