Brazilian Vale Tudo

What are some of the larger/most popular Brazilian Vale Tudo events. The only one I've heard of is Meca, and I don't know whether it is large or small, famous, etc. I'm also guessing that the Brazilian events don't have the rules of the UFC/Pride (ex. no downward elbows to keep the grapplers away). What are some of the other big vale tudo events around the world aside from Pride, UFC, and the other American events (King of the Cage, etc.) ??

I guess I'm really looking for the ones specifically from Brazil and from outside the USA. I'm interested to see some more of what happens when you let the Thai Boxers throw their 'bows back in the equation, and also to see some events that really are "As real as it gets"
