Dead Man Walking!

Democratic Governor Mel Carnahan of Missouri narrowly defeated Republican incumbent John Ashcroft to take his Senate seat.

The problem?

Carnahan died in a plane crash a month ago. His widow will be serving in his stead.

Is it just me, or does this remind anyone else of that 80's movie, "Weekend at Bernie's" ?

I wonder what his stand on gun-control is?

Just goes to show how in tune the American public is with the election. No wonder a crook like Bush got voted in.
