*Kazushi Sakuraba vs. Vanderlei Silva ???
This must be a jester, I would gamble the fight never materializes.
I respect Sakuraba, but his injuries and last few fights took even more from him.
        Silva will fight Quinton Jackson

In that case poor Sak will have his head handed to him again by Silva

You can't really tell who's gun win until the fight happens..aything happens. Plus Sak has a great chance of winning over Silva...perosnally I favor SaK, and I seriously think he can beat Silva. Either way, it's gun be a good one.

Does anyone else get a certain feeling from Silva that he isn't there to just fight and compete, but personally kick his opponent's ass?

This is a Sakuraba interview translated.

A Sakuraba quote from Sportsnavi: "I owe him two. I'm going to pay him back with interest. I particularly can't forget the second match that ended with a doctor stoppage. I'll take my chance to get him back anytime I can get it. I don't care about the GP title. It doesn't matter if it's the first match of the GP. I just want to hear Silva say he gives up. I've been telling Nobuhiko Takada this before the GP was announced. "

To prepare for the upcoming GP Saku has been trying to gain weight and has moved his training out of Takada dojo to an undisclosed location in Osaka, where is training six hours a day. Sakuraba is a bit secretive about the content of the training. "Takada told me to go there" was all he would intimate. One of his rumored Osaka sparring partners in Yusuke Imamura of Takada Dojo.

I seriously think Saku has a great chance of taking the whole GP. Just my opinion.

Let's say that Sakuraba beats Silva (which I can't see happening), Silva's fights are brutal and I doubt Sak would have the endurance to continue another 2 fights in the same night.
