  • The word on Yoshida and his injury.

A partial torn meniscus could be the lucky break my Boy Renzo could have needed to get into the Grand Prix. Yoshida will need two whole months to properly recover. Renzo hasn't been named, but sure as hell would like to see him there. Also, it will answer a question that has been reeling through my mind. How and what will happen if a Gracie had to face Silva? Will he be utterly obliterated like Saku, or will they fair better? Logic would say it won't be a good fight. After all, Saku beat every Gracie he faced. And Silva beat him everytime. But then again, perhaps Saku just had the Gracies "numbers" like Silva seemed to have Saku's. Does that mean the "having the other fighters number" becomes forfeit because they have never faced each other? Or is Silva just a machine of destruction that is likened to an ape-like Juggernaught with a steel jaw?
Also, will the Red Sox ever win another world series and will the hated (by me) Buccaneers win this year again...So many questions...So little time.

    my 2 favorite fighters!
that would be a fantastic fight, or i hope it would be.
i get the feeling silva would tear him in half though.
i think royce fights because he was born into it.
but silva loves it, lives for it, craves it, he even seems to enjoy the pain, he is a fighting machine.
and you are absolutley right, some fighters just seem to have either a mental or physical edge over others

silva is one of the greatest fighters ever, but maybe a gracie can beat him, i just dont know, sometimes i get a descepcion from wanderley, like when i fought against tito or belfort.

but maybe we just need to see this happen.

Well, I think Silva has become MUCH better since his fight with Belfort and Tito, but still, seeing those guys bang again would be interesting.

And yes, Vitor Belfort and Silva did fight. It was the fight that Belfort exploded into the UFC with. When he threw... I can't remember anymore, something like 12 punches in about 8 seconds..

You know I have seen that fight....I just never put two and two together that it was the same maniac Silva getting absolutly handled by Vitor....

By the way I wish I had a bad ass name like Vitor Belfort, it just sounds like he should pound people.

                    P.S.

I just read over a Yoshida interview and he said he will be competing in Nov, if he has to crawl to the ring to do so.

Belfort is a very strong fighter. The fight versus Couture was one of the best in the UFC. Of course Belfort lost

I'd like to see Silva vs. Belfort Round 2. The first time these two met, I think Silva underestimated Belfort... I mean he didn't react at all and was caught off guard. I think if they were to go at it again, things would be different. We would probably see more savageness from Silva... As I recall, after being pounded by Belfort, Silva got right back up and asked the ref why he stopped the fight—tough dude...

I have never heard a defeated fighter who said that it was good that the referee stopped
In a normal boxing ring Silva would have been k.o.ed cos there is not the room to run way

Randy is a Great Fighter I think if Coture Beats
Tito, Belfort Vs Coture Would Be a Great remach.

Belfort Has Grown He Took out Marvin Eastman
With Some good knees & Choked out Boby South Worth.

His worst Fight Ever Was against Sak & his Best was against Silva., I Like The Joe Charels 1 to
