Yeah cats are good at fighting. They jump and roll around and hit quite hard (and fast!). My cat is pretty big and he likes to scratch people for no reason (lies on his back and kicks with both back legs at once, deadly technique). And if you try and pick him up he can roll sideways and get out of it.
