  • No TKD bashing on this thread!

Welcome to a new thread. Tests have shown that when TKD bashing is kept to a minimum, thread origionality and quality goes up. Since these two properties would seem desireable, Lizard has made a thread where no TKD bashing is allowed. You may talk about anything that does not involve insulting TKD. Thank you for your time.

Obviously this will only work if we also avoid pro-TKD arguments, at least for the time being.

May all your posts be humourous yet enlightening.

Its such a relief to not be talking about TKD.

I mean i dont have to say that its the worst system in the world.

It nice to not be saying that i think TKD is absolute rubbish.

And im not going to say anything about the people that do TKD and how dumb they are.

Well im training now probably harder than i have done for about 3 years.

I hope to step in the ring soon.
Something ive put off for a while to go after my career but now im settled im going for it.

    Wish me luck.

Building up my fitness to the right level, should be going for it in about 3 months or so.

What sort of ring? What sort of competition? What type of training have you been doing?

Square ring, MT, I want to compete in Pro MT and i would like,if i can to get a title. I think i can do this as im technically very good.

My main drawback right now is haert and lung strength so im running and upping the kicking which is good that too.

Im doing sprinting and endurance runs of about 8 miles over rough terrain.

I want to fight often and get a belt, my aim at the end of all that is to teach but one step at a time.

Running over rough terrain isn't so good for your ankles and knees.

No TKD bashing??? but it's so EASY! *whine*...

speaking of competitions, man, I'm way too lacking in the endurance area to go for a competition...

focusing mainly on self-defense and kicking ass in the least amount of time possible

hey, what do you guys think about senshido.net?

It's about a 6 hour drive from where I am and I wanted to go down there and go to one of the weekend sessions.

If I had a chance to train with Dimitri et al, I would be all over it.

running over rough terrain IS VERY good for your ancles and your knees.. running on asfalt is VERY BAD for your ancles and knees.. when you run on rough terrain you strengthen your stabilisation-muscles.. good.. when you run on asfalt.. you **** up everything BAD! you even **** up your sperm.. so asfalt = BAD BAD BAD so there you go

don't you have a greater chance of twisting your ankle or something on rough terrain?

well, if you have weak ancles, you shouldn't, but if you have normal ancles, you will only make them stronger. it is just like sparring.. if you have a glass-nose that breaks if someone breaths hard in your direction.. ofcourse you don't go full contact sparring .. but if not? go ahead..
