      great thing about JKD, is first it is not an art its a philosophy and second is it is truly up to the individual to make his or her on road or follow dfferent roads. you are esentially water in JKD.
      Funny enough but every JKD school that I went to taught techniques, but I'll agree with you about the different roads which is something even my traditional teachers push.

      I think the entire traditional label is misleading

          You have to learn more than just a philosiphy. Didn't Bruce Lee try to do away with Jeet Kune Do after he realized that most of the people trying to learn it were looking for a system?
