Tank has a big Name he is good for the sport in that
he is verry easy to reconise.

But Facts are Facts Mirr Twisted his Foot off
Kimo Choke the Life out Of Him.

Per haps a comentary Postion wood be the
Best Job,Then again He may just need a Few more Drinks
& some Tomato cans to get rid of the ring rust.

His Fight with Steve Nelmark will alway's be a Classic
also The Fight against Jon Matua Was Great.

Tank has definitly placed him self in MMA history
I don't think he is done Yet.

his fighting abilities are pathetic, just check his win/ loss ratio.
he just throws hay makers hoping one will land.i though he was all heart and guts until i saw him verbally submit to maurice smith after a few leg kicks, i lost alot of respect for him after seeing that, not that i had much for him.
        loved seeing rizzo KHTFO.

well i have 2 say i agree to what u sed, i LAO THOUGHT HE WAS ALL GUTS AND GLORY UNTIL he tapped out so easily. he needed to put up more of a fight 2 be a legend in the MMA.( still MATUA n NELmark fights were 1's 2 watch) all the fighters have sussed his style out out.

The early days of UFC were Wild West. The most important fight of these days was Royce Gracie vs. Dan Severn; a classical fight.
Today the scene has become more professionell. Couture himself is the man who stands for this. Was Severn a good but not world class wrestler so is a Couture a world class wrestler (of course not one the best). But the only one who acts in MMA.
This is his advantage to the street fighters who gave gas in the the first minutes (and it looks they have a chance) but loose completely power and motivation if taken to the ground by Randy.

Appendix: Tank lost against Frye (I mentioned it in another thread) miserable. The most punishment he got against Vitor Belfort. He tapped out when Vitor (standing) gave him (lying on the ground like a fat baby) punishment on his head more and more. McCarthy stapped in.

i got no problem with submitting when in an armbar, lock or when getting the life choked out of you, but tank submitting after a few leg kicks, it was like a little kid saying "ouch your too rough, im not playing anymore". COME ON MAN! if his kicks are too much take him down, punch it out, something!

                      Forget Tank!
The only point I give him is because his not trained. No other excuses.
I want to see Vitor in a big match; against Lidell or Tito; I love Belfort, I don't why, he's so damned talented.

Tank's fighting that Cabbage dude in November.

It should be the end of Tank.

Tank never beat anyone that was a real athlete or legit fighter. He beat the crap out of some guys that weren't really professional fighters.

The closest he came to being a real fighter was when he fought Don Frye. He could have won that fight but he fell, gave his back, and got choked out easily. But I have a feeling Frye would beat him much the same way 10x/10.
He looked competitive with Mo Smith at the beginning also, but again, when the going got tough, he just quit. I have a feeling that fight would also go just one way, the way it did.
He had loads of potential for MMA but he is lazy, and his goal was to come in fat and out-of-shape and try to make a mockery of martial artists by beating them up. His finest moment was when it actually worked on Hugo Duarte, who I don't know enough about but could be considered overrated. He put Duarte away in under a minute, whereas Mark Kerr laid on top of Duarte for three boring rounds, gouging away at his cuts.
At this point he's finished unless they match him against someone less experienced and less good. Maybe they could have him in KOTC, him and Mike Bourke would be fun but Tank would KO him.
