I'm thinking that maybe beause he was at a public transit depot, he "may" have been in a violation situation.

But in the past when I tried to buy from my vendor a baton that "twists" and becomes a nunchacka. They told me that they couldn't send it to me because it was against the law in Ca. and they are the same vendors that sent me the telescopic batons.

its against the law in california to carry a baton but not to own one. Same thing with balisongs. Hell in ca you can carry a folder as big as you want so long as it is just a plain folder and not automatic, spring loaded, or gravity opened. A telescoping baton would be cool to own but alas california won't let us have them.

Can you tell me how you know that the telescoping baton is illegal in NYS? Thanks, Fred
