Find an instructor.
If you're a novice, learning from books is dangerous.
Far and away, the best BJJ technical book is the Master Text II from www.jiu-jitsu.net
It's also the most expensive.
The first thing the author says, in all three of his books, is that a book is not a substitute for a qualified instructor.
Words more true were never written.
Good luck.

Read the Royler and Renzo Gracie BJJ book. Once you learn all the moves up you can walk into any BJJ school and ask to take your black belt test. This will save you tons of money instead of taking classes!!! If they ask where you learned BJJ make sure to tell them that you read from this fine publication.

Spanky,
I was actually serious. You can also get your online bjj black belt. It is an open book test where you have to describe what your next move will be in certain scenarios. Of course you will have to describe it in great detail. You too can obtain an online bjj black belt for a small nominal fee of $5000. Some of these online black belts can tie up Royce like Gumby, LOL!!!
