I'll tell you a bit of a story that Rener told me ... actually, I will make it real short.
The family went to Japan for the GP in 2000. They stayed there a month and their food bill (yes, pride flips the bill) was 36,000 dollars.
So, when the Gracies came back for their next event (which Rorion always makes sure the family can come along. I guess he is quite the stickler when coming to contracts) Pride assigned one of their personal to follow the family around for a day. They didn't believe that the family could eat so much. More or less, they thought they were lying. So this guys job, like aforementioned, was to catalog what they ate. Lets just say, he apologized for bothering them and left right after breakfast...
He had seen enough to understand. Your friend, he has a long hard road ahead of him...Comment

Negotiations are in the pipeline... The bout looks like it will be held in January or February...
But the question - does BBQ food fit into the Gracie diet???
