Convicts vs. NHB fighters

Do you guys think that there are guys in prison who could hang with the likes of Kerr, Belfort, Coleman, Igor, etc in a streetfight. What about Tyson and Karelin. There are guys in prison (I know of a couple) who were in the joint who are ****ed up psychos. In a one on one streetfight with no weapons, are there guys in prison who could beat NHB fighters and boxers in a streetfight? I think that there's probably some but overall, I think a trained fighter will beat a muscled out psycho most of the time.

Also a friend of mine said that prison is so rough that if somebody like Kerr, Coleman or Belfort ever went to prison that they would most likely get raped because he said that there are guys in there who are just as strong who could kick there ass. Now maybe I'm wrong, but in a one on one fight, I don't see too many people with the capability to rape Mark Kerr. But then again, five-on-one, six-on-one, and Kerr is someones bitch for the evening.

To be honest, I think a lot of MA'ers train just so they can deal with that situation. One on one I think Kerr could rough just about any convict up. 6 to 1 odds are impossible for anyone. But why bother fighting with hands?
If 6 people jump you, kill them. Use knives or a gun. *uck

I would have to say no,most convicts couldnt hang with world class NHb competitors,in fact most humans cant,thats why theyre world class.Ive seen crappy NHB guys beat the hell out of people in RL,Kerr,or god help us Igor,would beat down someone not ready for that type of explosion.Just my opinion.

When you say world class, you're talking about the best fighters in the world with the best technique.

Honestly, how many criminals are tougher than Tank Abbot. Yet, this guy can't beat top notch fighters eventhough he's super strong, big, and meaner than hell.

Convicts simply don't have the training, knowledge, or skills to deal with the likes of kerr, shamrock, etc. And secondly, good NHBer's can take a tremendous amount of punishment.

If Renzo's ass was on the line, I bet he could have fought with that broken arm. Maybe not against Sak, but definitely against a violent convict.

Good responses from everybody. I think the general opinion though is that NHB fighters are the best fighters on the planet, which I think is not true. Just because you are a NHB fighter, does not mean you can beat the world. A streetfight is totally different than a sport fight. By rules and by mentality. There are people out there who could **** up alot of NHB fighters but just don't want to compete in that sport. There are people who have careers and families, who have no need to prove themselves. I'm not saying every average Joe on the street could beat Mark Coleman, but I'm sure there's atleast ONE average Joe out there who could take him.

And to tell you the truth, NHB fighters aren't necessarily the best fighters. There's boxers, wrestlers, powerlifters, bodybuilders, Military men (Recon, SEALS,), etc. The world of NHB has not seen the elite of each of these styles.

As for convicts in prison, these men may not have the training of NHB fighters, but they sure as hell have the mentality. Those guys in state prison are usually in there for violent crimes like murder. Some of them probably could fight, and some probably can't. Again, I'm not saying every prisoner could beat Mark Kerr, but some of them could.

CC: c'mon, can you really see charles manson slammin karelin? how about jeffrey dahmer out-armwrestling gary goodridge? sure, maybe a few of the guys in prison might be big and strong, but if they are only used to fighting/murdering victims/wives who don't know how to fight, (and usually with weapons), there is no way they would be prepared for someone who is comditioned, has amazing technique AND is used to fighting the best of the best. the best of them might be on tank abbott's level, but 1 on 1, no weapons, i would put my $$ on any of the top 10 MMA fighters in the middleweight division up. lastly, although anyone can lose a fight, i would bet on Kerr against any convicted murder or child-molester.

There is a video called the Ultimate Bodyguard Fighting Championship. It pits Prison Warders and Security Guards against brutal convicts. When the fight gets a bit boring the warders fire their guns around the fighters. It is shocking yet intriguing to watch.

yusul, I think you misunderstood my post. I wasn't talking about scrawny ass little convicts like Charles Manson and Jeffery Dahmer, and I certainly wasn't talking about any scum of the earth child molesters (who I would love to kill myself). I was talking more along the lines of the type of convict who is in the joint for..let's say beating someone to death in a mutual combat streetfight. Or someone who catches their wife in bed with someone else and snaps the guys neck. Those type of convicts, not the jerk off ones like you stated.

The rest of your post was 100% true to a 'T'. Most of the normal population can't handle a NHB fighter on the street. Or a boxer for that matter.

been in a few county jails, no prisons but been around alot of guys who were headed there. some of those guys were extremely strong and mean and might could overpower a smaller nhb fighter but the heavies would pretty much massacre any guy they have in there unless he was an abbot type puncher who got the drop but if it is not an instant k.o. then the con ain't gonna win. and the prison rape thing is pretty much reserved for guys who won't fight back at all. if you are willing to fight then the enemies of whoever is trying to get you will incorporate you into their clique because you are not a punk and you guys have a mutual enemy.

CC you make a good point.My reference was to the TOP NHb fighters.Igor or Kerr,someone of that size.The biggest advantidge they would have is that,while they have the same natural abilities (talent and genetics)as the meanest cons(and many cons are dam dangerous,no argument here,I dealt with too many of em in my bouncing days)the fighters fight all day,every day,and most have access to roids.9 out of 10 times I gotta go with the NHb elite.\\
Newbie,it depends on where youre locked up at.Ive known a few guys that did time,and most never took it up the ass.As one guy told me,theres too many gays in prison that give it up for free for most people to want to fight a guy to get it.Some prisons are dungeons where you may get jumped by 10 guys,but generally if youre smart and tough you can hold your own and make the friends you need to protect yourself.
