Mike Russell, UFC - When talking to Pat Barry, you find yourself immediately at ease and you get the strange sense that you've known him for years, as if he were a cousin or elementary school friend you lost touch with and are speaking with for the first time in a long while. Polite, funny, articulate and personable, you just can't help but like the guy. It was with this same southern charm and gift for gab that the New Orleans native inadvertently elicited a UFC invite from Joe Silva, whom he had befriended before he knew just who the UFC matchmaker was. -
